Andre Hanna
Game Designer, Programmer & Technical Artist
I build fun, unique game experiences across design, programming, and technical art — with a philosophy of always doing it different.
Quality assurance at an established Australian game studio — bug reproduction, regression testing, and working within a production-grade pipeline. Sharpened attention to detail and built a strong appreciation for polish and process.
Academy of Interactive Technology — two-year game design program covering Unreal Engine programming, technical art, level design, 3D asset creation, and multiplayer systems.
I'm Andre Hanna, a graduate game developer based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in Unreal Engine 5. I build across the full stack — Unreal C++ systems, advanced materials, 3D character creation, and cinematic animation. I love understanding how all the pieces fit together, and my philosophy has always been: if you do it, do it different.
Initially, the plan I had for my life was to become a doctor — after high school I went into pre-medicine, but after a year I found myself hating the way it was taught. Growing up I'd always been drawn to games; I'd find any excuse in school to use Scratch and I daydreamed about game design. I've always had a strong head for logic, math, and critical thinking, so I thought — why not try to make something special? I've played games of all genres, from JRPGs to indie bullet hells, AAA action games, fighting games, competitive shooters, and visual novels. I've experienced so many corners of the gaming world and I feel strongly that there are still so many more experiences to create — and thus, I am here.
Outside of game dev, you'll find me at the gym, getting lost in a good book, or out with a camera. I also love drawing, listening to music, and of course — playing games.
